hi - i have heard this holland story before, and i think it is wonderful. the best advice i ever got was at my son's first evaluation at age 13 months. she said "don't waste your energy thinking about who was wrong, and that they could have diagnosed him a few months sooner
and things like that. spend your energy on what you can do for your son now. where do you go from here?" i never forgot what she said, and it helps keep a good perspective. of course she wasn't talking about legal redress, or other topics. i'm usually very happy to be in holland, usa. my son is a treasure and brings enormous amounts of love and joy into our lives.
