I started my public schooling at the age of two. At the age of five I started at Hiawatha Elemetary. It was here that I went to Kindergarden through sixth grade. My parents went to a meeting. They were finding it harder and harder to find the help I needed to learn. I have a visual impairment, cerebral palsy, and attention deficit disorder. I started to get migranes. I was missing a lot of school, and my grades had fallen from A's and B's to straight F's. It was then that my mom and I went to my sixth grade meeting. Little did I know that she had found a school For The Visually Impaired. When she told me I was happy! They could provide more help for me than my public school. I recently went for an evaluation to see if I could attend school there. It went great! I now go to the School For The Visually Impaired! My grades are back up and I now have the help I need!
